One of the actual plasters from the Pompeii exhibition at the ROM in Toronto. This is the first time they've left Italy. This section of the exhibit is very emotional. You've most likely seen the plaster casts on some science show at some time, but to see the actual plaster in real life is heart wrenching. You realize you are looking at this person at the exact second they died almost 2000 years ago from a 300oC pyroclastic flow. If this exhibition comes to a museum anywhere near you, I highly recommend you go. N/A
